JS Global Capital Limited and Karachi Stock Exchange organized an Investor Awareness meet as part of a Nationwide Awareness Campaign of the KSE at the inauguration of JS Global’s branch in Faisalabad. Over 500 participants including members of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce, industrialists, investors, industry professionals, bankers, textile exporters, doctors, jewelers and people from all walks of life attended the investors’ awareness event. Mr. Kamran Nasir, CEO JS Global Capital Limited, opened the event giving a detailed presentation on JS Global, capital markets and in-depth fundamental research. Mr. Nadeem Naqvi, Managing Director KSE provided an overview of capital market infrastructure, steps taken for investor facilitation and protection. He also apprised participants about investing in equity markets, careful assessment of brokers and urged the participants to attain basic knowledge about the risk and returns of the equity markets in order to better devise an investment strategy. Other regulators, CDC, NCCPL and PMEX, also participated in this mega event, sharing valuable knowledge with the participants. Speaking at the occasion Mr. Nadeem Naqvi appreciated JS Global’s initiative in establishing an office in Faisalabad. The participants welcomed the idea of opening a new branch in Faisalabad which will serve as a one stop shop where equity/commodity trading and investment banking services will be made available to the residents/ companies operating in Faisalabad. Mr. Nasir briefed the audience that with the opening of Faisalabad Branch, the industrial community of Faisalabad will not be required any longer to travel to Karachi/Lahore in order to find solutions for their corporate needs. He emphasized that JS Global being subsidiary of JS Bank can facilitate every possible requirement of any investor that pertains to either capital markets or financial services which will be met through JS Global’s Faisalabad Office.
