Pakistan's fastest growing private sector airline Airblue, launched its direct flights to Muscat with three weekly flights from Lahore.

The inaugural flight ceremony was held at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore which was attended by senior officials from the CAA and Airblue. Syed Aamir Mahboob - GM/ APM Civil Aviation Authority, conducted the ribbon cutting ceremony. Airblue held a quiz competition among the passengers of the Lahore-Muscat flight as well.
